Name: Sora
Series: Kingdom Hearts
Canon Standing: Post Kingdom Hearts 3D
Age: 16-18; around that age range.
Birthday & Astrology Sign: This is important due to the game's plot. If your character does not have a canon birthday, please make one up.
Arcana: The Fool
Personality:
Sora, to some, is the bright sun shining on all worlds or the sky that connects them together. He'll always give his all in accomplishing all the goals he set out to do with all his energy to cheer everyone he knows even if the situation is at its bleakest, and he'll do it with a smile on his face. He never differentiates between human and non-human and treats everyone he meets as equal no matter the situation. People needing to be treated different based on what they are just doesn't occur to him unless he's given proof. While this might make him seem like an over-friendly person who can't tell the difference between good or evil, Sora is capable of telling when someone doesn't have the best intentions. He will still give them a chance, but he'll be wary. However he can be quite gullible if the enemy puts some effort into how they come off to Sora.
As a traveler between worlds, Sora was advised not to meddle in foreign affairs. Yet some way or another he could always be found helping the inhabitants of all the worlds he visited, even if his main task at that time was to clear out the Heartless/Nobodies infestation and find his friends. This helping tendency was so great that at one time, Hades used it against him in order to get Sora to use the Keyblade to open the sealed Underdrome once again. This was accomplished by kidnapping Hercules' girlfriend, Megara. When Sora, Hercules, Donald, and Goofy rescued her, Sora wound up unlocking the seal in the process. This led to the Olympus Coliseum itself getting destroyed by Hades' Hydra due to it being unguarded while the four of them were rescuing Meg.
Another thing of note is Sora's incapability of working with technology. He came from a world where computers are not that popular yet. His trip to the world of Space Paranoid (Tron) is the epitome of that. While he did learn the basics, don't expect him to do some hacking or proper computer filtering anytime soon unless someone taught him in a very simplified manner.
Sora is a fierce protector of his friends. One of the things he hated the most was losing his friends. This characteristic is what pushed him to find Kairi and Riku in the first game. Despite being lost in an unknown place, and just learning of the existence of other worlds that he and his friends wanted to explore so badly, he put the safety of his friends above his innate desire to go see these worlds. In fact, he was very willing to risk his own life to save others. His job isn't exactly full sunshine and rainbows and entails defeating the forces of darkness that threatens to consume all the worlds, as well as former humans who seek their lost Hearts, as they were merely shells of their whole selves. This trait is taken to the extreme when Sora sacrificed his Heart (more or less the soul in this canon) in order to save one of those very friends he was seeking. While he did get better with the help of said friend being willing to make a similar sacrifice, it did show that Sora is willing to do anything to save his friends.
Of course, like any person; Sora has his own darkness, little as it was, but it's there. After all, there is always darkness within light. While this side was not that prominent in most of his adventures, it does show up from time to time, mostly at moments of great emotional duress, or the fact that his friends' life are being threatened by others. When it shows up, you can generally see that the nice young boy you just met could be a really scary one with a glare that can send shivers down your spine. Of course, most of the time he just really doesn't notice it since who would when you're too angry to think straight?
